Membership Terms and Conditions

Membership rates are subject to change. Members receive written notice at least 30 days prior to rate change at the most recent address provided to Jewish Community Center of Greater Boston, Inc. (“JCC Greater Boston“, “JCC“, “the JCC“, “we“, “us“) . Members must notify us of any changes in residential/email address/phone number. Membership is continuous and remains in effect until written termination notice is provided. Written notice of termination must be received by the 20th day of month prior. Auto drafts are processed the first business day of the month. Bank/credit card statements serve as receipt for membership payments. A prorated amount will be charged today for the remaining portion of the current month. Dues are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not tax-deductible.

Member accounts become delinquent if draft is unpaid. Membership will cancel after 25 days of delinquency. Should a bank/credit card company, for any reason, not honor a monthly membership draft, members are responsible for that payment plus a $25 service charge in addition to service fees imposed by bank/credit card company. Membership dues must be current to receive member discount pricing on programs and continue through the duration of the program. Before any new registrations are accepted, delinquent balances must be paid in full, or payment arrangements made. We reserve right to change facilities, operating hours, class schedules/instructors, and equipment.

Members use all JCC facilities at their own risk. JCC is not responsible for loss of or damage to member’s or guest’s valuables or property. Member grants permission for photographs and/or videos taken at JCC or on behalf of JCC to be used for publicity purposes, online, in JCC publications, email communications, and other not-for-profit purposes.

We reserves the right to suspend/revoke membership privileges if member behavior is deemed inappropriate or detrimental to JCC, participants, staff, and/or members’ well-being. Boisterous behavior and profane language are not permitted. Abusive treatment of staff, members, equipment, and/or facility are not tolerated. Membership may be terminated for violation of JCC general operating rules. Refunds will not be issued for cancelled or suspended/revoked memberships.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY – I hereby unconditionally release the Jewish Community Center of Greater Boston, Inc. (“JCC Greater Boston“, “JCC“, “the JCC“) and any of its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, and/or anyone working under, through, or in connection with any of them with respect to any incident, claim, occurrence, loss, injury, or damage, whether known or unknown, present or future, foreseeable or not, that could or may arise out of such participation in any and all programs and activities, including travel to and from, in which I participate at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Boston, Inc.

Consumers’ right to cancellation: You may cancel this contract without any penalty or further obligation by causing a written notice of your cancellation to be delivered in person or postmarked by a certified or registered United States mail within three (3) business days of the date of the contract or the date of your receipt to the address specified in the contract.
