JCC@333 Annual Gala
At JCC Greater Boston, we have created a thriving community where everyone is welcome to cultivate their own Jewish identity, and everyone is encouraged to create their own story.
Named eponymously for our address at 333 Nahanton Street, our gala is where we celebrate our impact and look forward. Where we invite you to get to know other members of our community through their stories, and where we hope that you’ll consider sharing your own.

New Event Format for 2025
We are excited to celebrate and to honor the Riemer and Goldstein families. Those who have attended our annual gala in the past will experience our new event format this year. There will be over an hour of cocktails and heavy appetizers – including food stations and a variety of passed hors d’oeuvres – followed by a speaking program in the Riemer Goldstein Theater, and a dessert reception in our beautiful new lobby. All food will be Kosher courtesy of Catering by Andrew.
Riemer and Goldstein Family Biography
The legacy of Robert and Stepheny (z”l) Riemer runs deep, inspiring generations through their professional and community endeavors. For many years, Robert built a successful real estate career in partnership with his children, Mara Riemer Goldstein and Adam Riemer, while benefiting from Stepheny’s invaluable guidance. Together, they owned, developed, and managed properties, primarily in the Greater Boston area.
Beyond their professional achievements, the Riemer and Goldstein families have carried forward a profound commitment to community involvement. Robert has chaired several nonprofit boards, including JCC Greater Boston, Jewish Big Brother Big Sister (JBBBS), and Beaver Country Day School, while also serving on the boards of CJP and other organizations. He has been a “big brother” four times through JBBBS and, together with his family, welcomed two foster children through JF&CS, embracing them all as integral members of the family.
Stepheny, a prolific and celebrated artist, dedicated her time to numerous volunteer leadership and board roles, including the JCC and the Starr Gallery, Mayyim Hayyim, JF&CS, and Beaver Country Day School.
The next generation continues this tradition of service. Adam, a Tony Award®-nominated Broadway producer, visual storyteller, and entrepreneur, is active in the arts and philanthropy. He has served on the boards of Boston Jewish Film and JBBBS and has also participated as a “big brother” through the program. Mara chairs the JCC Greater Boston governing board, is a member of the JF&CS Center for Basic Needs Assistance Advisory Committee, mentors emerging leaders at Our Generation Speaks, and is a longtime member and past board member of Temple Ohabei Shalom.
Mara’s husband, Bob Goldstein, complements this legacy of service. An attorney by profession, he serves as vice president and regional board member of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) in New England, where he leads the Young Leadership Committee. He also mentors first-generation college students and volunteers regularly with JF&CS Family Table.
