Bring yourselves, your kids and your open hearts to this interactive, music filled morning honoring the values of service, equality and love taught by Dr. Martin Luther King. Alastair Moock is an award-winning singer-songwriter; a Grammy nominated family musician, a social justice & songwriting educator for all ages, and co-founder of The Opening Doors Project, an anti-racist music organization. The Boston Globe calls him “one of the town’s best and most adventurous songwriters” and the Washington Post says “every song is a gem”. After the concert, we’ll assemble kits in support of Family Promise MetroWest and A Place to Turn, two local organizations addressing hunger and homelessness by serving with dignity, equity and empathy. A list of food items requested for donation will be sent to registered participants prior to the concert. In partnership with Temple Israel, Natick. All families welcome. $15/family Pre-registration required to receive event updates. Contact families@jccgb.org for questions.
