Take your balance and injury prevention practice to the next level in this core-based training class led by a Certified Personal Trainer and functional movement specialist. Core muscles include abdominals, back, and muscles around the pelvis. Core strength and stability can help to improve lower body (glute and hamstrings) activation, increase hip and lumbar mobility, preventing lower back tension and injury. Core exercises also help to improve posture, balance and prevent falls. Being able to move to and from the floor is required, as some exercises will be performed on a mat. This class will meet both in-person and on Zoom; a private Zoom link will be provided prior to the session. Cost: $230; $50 for JCC Members (No class April 14, April 21 and May 26.)
