Discover the art of drawing and lay the foundation for any artistic pursuit. This class is perfect for beginners or those looking to return to drawing. Through guided demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and discussions, we’ll explore key concepts such as line, shape, texture, composition, shadow, and light. You’ll learn to observe the world around you with an artist's eye while mastering essential drawing techniques. Each week brings a new drawing experience, along with optional exercises to help you continue practicing at home. A materials list will be provided via email. Class is taught by Howie Green, an experienced watercolorist and illustrator with numerous awards for his art which has been featured in over 50 solo and group shows. He has completed over 100 murals and public art works for private and public clients including the Boston Red Sox Foundation.
