Join our writer’s workshop where we'll embark on a journey of personal narrative exploration. Each week, we'll explore our own experiences, crafting compelling stories. Guided by prompts, we'll explore classic storytelling elements such as sensory details, character development, dilemmas, and dialogue. In our first session, we will study examples of personal narratives and prepare for independent writing at home. Subsequent classes will revolve around sharing our creations, selecting prompts for the following week, and refining our craft on our own. No prior experience is necessary—just a curiosity to explore the writing process. Whether you're seeking to preserve cherished moments, share stories with loved ones, or even pursue publication, our supportive community is here to inspire and encourage your creative journey. Class taught by Marianne Marks, who facilitates writing workshops for adults because the writing process has integrity, leads to rich conversations, and naturally builds a sense of community.
