Learn and connect as your family grows.

Expecting a baby is a time of great transition and the JCC offers resources to help make this time even easier. JCC Early Parenting programs are warm and welcoming and provide an opportunity to meet other parents and caregivers with babies your child's age. Our classes and programs provide support and useful skills and tips from experienced instructors to help you navigate this exciting time for you and your baby.

New parent support classes (ages 0-6 months) Baby and toddler classes (ages 6-24 months)
Music classes (ages 0-5 years) Baby and toddler swim lessons (ages 3 months and up)
Feeding and sleep support Drop-ins and meet-ups (ages 0-5 years)
Parenting Support (adults) Infant and Child CPR (adults)



Classes are offered year round at convenient times all over Greater Boston. New parent classes are offered in
Arlington and Newton.

Joanie Olin, Coordinator of Early Parenting Programs

Joanie has more than 15 years of experience working for two of the region’s largest new parent support organizations, Warmlines Parent Resources and Isis Parenting. She has helped hundreds of new parents navigate the exciting, but challenging early months of parenthood. Joanie currently oversees all of the JCC’s Early Parenting programs. She lives in Needham and has three grown children.
