Israeli Dance: Drop In - Adults - Winter

Israeli dance is fun, heartfelt, and great exercise. You will be introduced to a variety of steps, styles, and rhythms as participants develop a repertoire that will keep everyone moving through the entire class.

Klezmer Plus - Adults - Winter

(All levels) While klezmer music, a centuries-old folk art from Eastern Europe, is emphasized we will also explore the multi-faceted palate of Jewish music. Almost any instrument (winds, brass, strings, voice and piano) can be worked into this ensemble. Includes coaching and historical background with occasional performances. Instructor: Barry Shapiro

Personal Strength & Flexibility Training (Advanced) - Adults - Winter

A 60-minute class led by a personal trainer focusing on strength training and flexibility. Learn proper form for various exercises and why each exercise is important to your overall conditioning. Jewelry Making: Recycled Materials and Found Objects - Adults - Winter

(All levels) Come learn various creative techniques for making jewelry, pins, rings, bracelets, necklaces, or earrings in a relaxed, fun environment. Each week we will explore a different low cost approach to creating unique one of a kind pieces, such as wire wrapping, paper beads, assemblage, and more. All materials will be supplied, but participants can bring special photos and broken jewelry to use in class. Instructor: Sophie Rosenberg Materials fee not included.

Painting in Style - Adults - Winter

(Intermediate/Advanced) Bring your style to new frontiers using diverse painting media (oils, acrylics, collage) and a wide range of special effects. Color theory, composition and drawing skills are an integral part of this course. Learn to communicate your ideas and to critique your work in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. Intro to Swing - Adults - Winter

(Beginners) Learn the fundamentals of swing dancing in these progressive class series. Come explore basic movement and rhythms at the heart of all the swing dances, as you learn to lead and follow.
