While klezmer music, a centuries-old folk art from Eastern Europe, is emphasized we will also explore the multi-faceted palate of Jewish music. Almost any instrument (winds, brass, strings, voice and piano) can be
worked into this ensemble. Includes coaching and historical background with occasional performances.

For people who do not know how to bid or play Bridge. Develop the skills needed to enjoy playing in a social setting. Basics will be covered, including point counting, opening bids, responses, overcalls, bidding to contract, and basic elements of playing the hand.

STRIAR ADULT ACTIVITY GROUP
A monthly social group for adults with moderate development challenges, offering opportunities for a variety of leisure-time activities such as dancing, craft projects, miniature golf, and cooking.

A program for adults with mild/moderate special needs, focusing on enhancing social and community skills and celebrating Jewish holidays. Activities include outings to museums, parks, the beach and concerts. Meetings are held at the JCC Early Learning Center in Brookline and in the community. Participants pay for outside activities. The group leaders are Frank McManus and Rebecca Brigham.

Join other adults with mild special needs for dining, mini-golf, movies and other leisure time activities. The group members decide their own activities with the assistance of advisors. Participants pay for community-based activities. The group leaders are Lisa Dwinnells and Charlotte Ruskin.

Designed to address the challenges of painting outdoors, finding compositions, changing light, color in direct light and shadow, as well as finding values outside.
